Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.

Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.

How to use:

Read the package leaflet before use

Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose

The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets

May take 2-3 days for full effect

If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor.

Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 20 mg esomeprazole (as magnesium trihydrate). Contains sucrose.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor

How to take:

The recommended dose is one tablet once a day.

The dose can be taken with or without food.

The stomach works by releasing digestive enzymes called proton pump inhibitors (PPI).

For the proton pump, take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as necessary (up to one tablet in a day).

If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Swallow 1 gastro-resistant tablet with water.

It is better to swallow the proton pump inhibitor whole with a glass of water, not more than once a day.

The dosage is one gastro-resistant tablet with or without food.

If you accidentally take more than the prescribed dose, consult your doctor.

Do not give 2 doses at once, even if your symptoms are similar to what have been reported previously.

If you have a stomach bleeding, discuss the use of this medicine with your doctor.

How long does the effect last:

It takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to start working in people.

The effects of esomeprazole magnesium may last for up to 14 days.

If you do not see the full benefit of 15 days of treatment, talk to your doctor.

Directions
